How will you be diagnosed for sleep disorders?

Sleep Study (Polysomnogram)

A sleep study is a recording of bodily functions during sleep.

Recording will vary depending on individual basis.

Some of the recordings taken may include:

Brain wave

Snoring

Eye movement

Heart rate

Breathing patterns

Muscle tension

Oxygen level

Breathing effort

Leg movement

Body position and abnormal behaviours

These data will be analyzed and interpreted by one of our sleep physicians.

These information will then be used to assist the physician in diagnosing and treating the condition.

The sleep report will be forwarded to your referring physician.
